SCADA - Monitoring and Control
SCADA systems ensure the monitoring and control of a process, regardless of the application. We can select the best devices for the entire automation system:
– sensors and actuators for measuring and controlling the physical process in real-time;
– data acquisition and control equipment;
– communication equipment for sending data and commands between different locations;
– IT hardware and SCADA software for processing, displaying and storing all the data automatically.
MES - Efficiency Analysis
MES solutions ensure the efficiency analysis of a process, by using real-time but also historical data, in order to compare the current performance with other moments in the past, or with a desired level. The goal of this analysis is to find the improvements that can be done, throughout the process.
A key performance indicator of the analysis is the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), which is calculated based on data acquired regarding Availability, Performance and Quality of the process.
